Hi Janell and Teresa [Whimsical Rats],
I just wanted to let you know that we are totally in love with the little
girl rats that you sold us. They are doing great. Emily named her rat
Ginny and they are getting along wonderfully. Tim named his Cocoa and
she is very sweet to Tim. They get plenty of attention and love, even
from my husband. I am so impressed with how smart they are and how
sweet. We even have Ginny potty trained. Cocoa has a little while to
go, but she is doing pretty good. ( I just can't believe that they can
actually be potty trained). Thanks again for all your time and for
answering all my questions. We are truly pleased. It is a joy to walk
in and they are so happy to see us.

Thanks again so much. We will send pictures of them soon.

I got my two beautiful rats Pandora and Tootsie in July (07), and I must say what a difference there is in how they turned out. These rats are smart, have amazing temperaments, and are very lovable. Pandora is my crazy little beast, and she loves to give kisses, run around, and sit on shoulders. Toots is much more calm and lovey, she is the kissiest rat i've ever had! I'm so glad that i found Ratterfly, it's been a real reward. Thank you so much for my babies, Janny!

I came by and adopted a little boy rat from you recently. I just wanted to let you know that he is WONDERFUL. He has the best little personality...he plays games with my hand. no joke. We have this game I do while my boyfriend's asleep and there's limited space on the bed (I'm an insomniac, so it's convenient that this little guy wants to play at the most ungodly hours) where I basically "tickle" him anywhere on his back or butt with my hand and he frantically chases my hand around to bite it, while I'm dodging him and only staying near his back. He doesn't really bite though....just kind of puts his mouth around the tip of my finger. he darts all over the bed doing that for like 20 minutes before he's content to just climb up and sit in the space between the back of my beck and my hair to hang out for awhile. he's so smart! we play the hand pounce game all the time. My other boys have actually taken to him quite well, even better than usual actually. He got chased around for about thirty seconds when they were all introduced in the bathtub but now they're acting as if he's been there all along. We were going to call him Ferris, after this really great rat I had a while back, but we wound up with the name "Poco", which means "little" in italian. He REALLY likes cherries. Other treats he likes too (carrots, chicken, cornflakes, etc) , but offer him a cherry and you better watch your finger, he get's so enthusiastic about it. Anyways I just wanted to say thanks for a great little rat, and maybe I'll be looking for another in the future =D -

"Padfoot & Prongs are doing great. Both are very loving and fun rats and have figured out how to get off the table that their cage is kept on. So now when I leave for work I must be sure to have the cage closed as once open they are off and running around the house in 30 seconds or less. Once they have a run of about 20 minutes they come looking for me to be helped back or get a treat as they go back to the cage."

"I'm in love with my boys. They're both happy and healthy. I have them out on my bed with me every night, and I'm amazed at how much personality they have! Rocky, the black hooded, is so exploratory and in-your-face. He'll run off and then very quickly return to check in with me. And EVERYTHING belongs to him, it seems. Whatever food or toy you have always ends up as his. He's definitely more dominant, too. Sam, your boy, is much more reserved and polite. He started off a little skittish but he's warmed up a lot. I get him out and he sits in my sweatshirt pocket for a few minutes before he gets bold and goes exploring. He's very much a mom's boy. And when he finds a good hiding place, he hunkers down and stays a while. It's always a challenge to find him in the pillows. They're so amazing, and I love them both! My 15 year old brother even likes to play with them. I'll send pictures as soon as I find my camera. THANK YOU! I couldn't have dreamed of better ratties."

Elsie (for LC = "Lamb Chop") is a WONDERFUL addition to our family!! She comes to her name, sits on shoulders, gives kisses, and is totally purse trained. So far, there have been zero health problems, zero temperament problems, ZERO PROBLEMS!"

"Isis is doing very well although she is super hyper and extremely smart! She runs around my room and can get ANYWHERE she wants including the top of the closet and under the door and out of my room. She can get back to her cage, climbs on the bookshelf, off the desk, off the bed, and back on wherever she wants! I have to blockade the door with heavy books so she can’t get out! I even have to use heavy books because she figured out how to pull out the light ones, and I am going to have to switch to wood because she is figuring out if she opens the books it makes them shorter and she can get out! Unbelievable! She also comes to her name if not too distracted."

Squeek, as he was named, is doing great. When he first arrived he wasn't getting along very well with his new roomate (which is why I named him Squeek, because he was always squeeking when they were fighting). But now him and Rascal love each other. But Squeek is definietly the dominant male. Even though he is much smaller and looks more innocent, he always gets the top spot in the hammock, and is always the one grooming Rascal. It's quite funny. They are both super happy rats, and love to play and run on the couch. They LOVE any kind of fruit, and are always thrilled for a treat. They even come when I call their names now; it's very cute.

Lokie and Trance seem to have adjusted to the move and living here. The have a 3 level condo with there own lap pool that gets filled with ice blocks daily (they have two bottles of water as well)a real treat. They have a hammock that is a favorite stashing place, even an igloo. They love the swing and use it to climb on the cheese house. They use the litter pan most of the time. They even have a huge Tiki Hut that they use during play time out side of there condo. Trance loves to play hide and seek, the more you look for her the more she likes it. And Lokie is abit more laid back prefering for her to do the work unless it comes to food. Then he needs to rearange the food and where it needs to be. They always seem to know when I go to the cabinet with the treats and food. The wrapper seems to wake them out of the deepest sleep. And when I am cleaning their condo, they have the huge balls to run around--they are getting the idea and seem to like it. But most of all they love to give you kisses and make sure you are groomed by the best. Shoulder rides are the way to go, they love rides in a hoodie pouch. They are a bit pampered, but they deserve it. Thankyou so much for these two bundles of joy.

We just wanted to let you know what a wonderful and amazing gift to the whole family "The Girls" have been. They are everything you said and more and have become so beautiful with their two tone coats. We named the creamy one Dolly and the grey one Chessie. They love to play and hide and eat! Dolly is much more shy but both are curious and are coming 90% of the time when called. They spend about three solid hours out of their "hotel" and in our giant family room each evening and on the weekend from mid afternoon on. They let us know when they are tired by climbing their cage for a snooze. We think we have discovered a life long love affair. Thanks for your help and if there is anything we could do for you, we would be happy to help. We will send a picture to you soon. "The Girls" are simply gorgeous - inside and out! Hope the New Year has been great so far.
